Jana Bodnárová is a Slovak writer, art historian and a publisher. She used to work as a preservationist, saving art history monuments in Prešov while also writing articles and studies about contemporary art. Since the early 1990s, she almost exclusively works as a writer. Along with regularly writing new prose, poetry, books for children, radio plays and TV screenplays, her activities also include creating and presenting video performances in galleries and experimental theatres at home as well as abroad.
