Petra Hůlová is a Czech author of prose and drama. Her books include Umělohmotný třípokoj (2006), Strážci občanského dobra (2010), Macocha (2014) or Zlodějka mýho táty (2019). She has received numerous literary awards (Magnesia Litera, Book of the Year, Josef Škvorecký Prize, Jiří Orten Prize), her books have been translated into more than ten languages. City Theatre of Prague currently performs an adaptation of her novel Stručné dějiny Hnutí.
