Three years after her debut (Papierový drak, 2020), KVASKOVA presents her second studio album Odmäk (Vlna records), which she will present in concert. The tracks are emotion-laden electronic compositions that Kvaskova has moved from post-rock sonorities into the territory of abstract electronic sound forms. She does not combine inner feelings with melodicism (much less with a hint of sentimentality). Rhythm and sound become dominant – a plethora of varied rhythmic structures complemented/created by electronically generated sonoristic shapes.

Her textual poetics is full of innermost reflections, questions and realizations. It is an in-depth probe into the inner world of a woman, her thoughts, images and states. All this is grasped and rendered in extremely concentrated and precisely expressed statements.
