Martin Kočiš was born in 1984 in Spišská Nová Ves. He studied economics in Košice. He is the author of the collections txt.txt (2014 / Drewo a srd – Vlna) and NADIR (2020 / Drewo a srd – Vlna). He has published in most Slovak and Czech literary periodicals. His texts have been translated into German and Greek. Some of them have been dramatized on Slovak Radio. He also translates. In his work, he significantly follows the tradition of experimental creation of the “text generation”. He lives in Spišská Nová Ves, he has two children.
